Hi all,
after a reinstall of OS, I've reinstalled FSX Gold, graphics are good apart from my VC, I can't read any of the txt on the control, for examplw, around the autopilot controls, the txt is blurred and unreadable, I'm pretty certain I had good graphics before.
It could be a few things I've not yet done, I've not sent the fsx.cfg off for tweaking nor have i updated the graphic drivers yet.
Anybody any other thoughts
regards to all
Steve
May the Mynd be with you.
So far my number of landings either passenger or pilot equal my number of takeoffs, but that is due to change

First, check the "global texture size" slider in the game options.
Then, check if you have selected the "anisotropic" for texture filtering.
Also, check if you have enabled the "high res virtual cockpits" option.
Finally, if you haven't updated your video drivers yet, then you might want to check your video settings too, especially the anisotropic filtering level.
Got bloom ?
Got mountains ?
Got damage ?

Hi Daube,
I've done what you suggested, only thing that wasn't set was the anosotropic filtering - it's made no difference. Only other thing to do is get latest drivers.
I'll recheck settings on my xp based PC, I'm sure the graphics 'were' ok on that one.
regards
Steve
