Goodly afternoon all... Smiley

The idea I was trying to show did not work out so well.

I know more advice is needed when trying to do something like this...
OR
maybe I should just stick with real aeroplanes as they always get me out of trouble and the darlings seem to know what they are doing... Smiley

FSX and Windows 7
FS Water Configurator...ON
3D Lights
HDE Clouds
ORBX PNW Free Demo
Location:  Departure...Bowerman  "KHQM"
               Destination...Sekiu  "11S"
Washington State...United States
Season...Summer and early AM  "Dawn"
Aircraft...FSX Default Cessna 172

All Freeware right here at Simviation... Wink

From Departure to the last shot the Visibility was raised several times.

During actual flying conditions one can see the improvement in the flight visibility as the flight progresses but I am not sure how well it got shown here... Undecided

Departing Bowerman "KHQM"
...

It will not take long to clear up...
...

Front office...
...

Visibility is picking up...
...

Oh what a beautiful day it is going to be...

Very nice Doug. I really like #1, #4, & #5. Smiley

If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

Thanks Larry...much appreciated... Wink

The Beaver with the canoe in your post...wonderful shot... Smiley

Is that your repaint and one of your shots?

Tell you why Larry, because you have it down pat...

Most right handed aviators when swamping will lift the right float first during takeoff as their right hand will be on the engine controls..

When touching down they will usually touch down with the left float first as again their right hand will be on the engine controls.

That is quite a compliment Doug, but it's not Memorex (FS), it's real world.  Grin

And in the video I just watched, Mike Lunenschloss took off lifting the right one time and the left another.  Undecided

Beautifull shots Doug, I love the last three of them.
Actually, the first one is quite cool as well, but the colors are not as impressive as in the last one for exemple. But a good screenshot nevertheless.

The only one I don't like is the second one, the visibility is too much reduced, so the background is not interesting Wink Usually, when it comes to getting a nice and realistic visibility layer, I use to set the visibility distance to 48 kms, or just one crank more, it always gives a nice result.

So what did you think about this little route ? (KHQM to 11S and vice-versa) Personnaly I love it. Not too long, not too short, and you can even take a look at the nearby mountains Smiley

Hi Larry... Smiley

That sure looked like your livery on the Beaver... Grin

When we were bored or showing off we used to do the same thing... Grin

It all comes down to not sitting in the aeroplane but strapping it on... Wink

Thanks Stephane for the comments...always most appreciated... Wink

It is a good route but I wanted to try the Fall Colours which are not available from what I understand in the Free Demo.

That is fine as it is a wonderful Freeware Addon.
