Turn on thermal visualizations and select "natural" and you should see buzzards...er... eagles... around areas with thermals for gliding.  As far as I know, aside from addon scenery, that's the only way to see birds outside of missions.

ok that is new for me  Huh

I took a small flight and nothing (Yet) However, I just look into SimObjects\Animals and there's only

ANI_elephant_walk01_sm
ANI_GiraffeWalk_Mature_sm
ANI_ZebraWalk_Adult_sm
HumpbackWhale
OrcaWhale

and No Birdies  Huh neither in SimObjects\Misc
would you confirm if you have no Birds Mdl in your FSX main folder SimObjects??

most of the "animals" will only show up in missions and NOT in free flight... other than Birds that are used to show Thermal Updrafts for gliding.  You will never see Giraffe, Elephants, or anything else walking around outside of the missions.  sorry. Not going to happen --- unless you have a specific scenery area (ORBX - ORCAS ISLAND) that call for that object.

Nope, no birds in "animals".  Is it possible they are scenery objects?

The buzzards for the thermo's probably only show up in areas of updraft, but I've seen them quite a few time in the Carribean and on the western US over areas of Utah.

I don't know if it will make any difference, but set your weather theme to "fair" since "Clear" removes thermals, as far as I can tell.  You also have to keep a sharp eye out, since they are smallish.

Another thought, set the thermal visulization to "Schematic" to get an idea of where they might be located, then change back to "natural", and the thermals should be in the same areas.

Yes ,they are thank you so much Boikat

...

I did what you said , First I though I saw one ,was another airplane ,then another one Was Dirt On my screen  Grin ,but Finally when I did to switch from natural to Schematic
than natural back heading toward I found the Birds ,turns out that is a tool for we to look for thermic front winds

Its hard to take a shot ,they are so small

Thanks Man
