Landing lights not showing (Read 193 times)

Yesterday I loaded the default 172 for a night flight, and when I switched on the landing light I found I didn't have them - the 3D effect was there, but there was no illumination of the taxiway/runway.  I checked other default and add-on aircraft and found the same results (3D effect [where applicable], no illumination of the ground).  The only 2 aircraft I found with working landing lights was the Iris A-10 and Iris P-40 (the freeware one) - which (if I'm not mistaken) use there own custom landing lights.  Additionally, the A-10 and P-40 are the only planes that I've put night hours on in the past year (according to the default log book) - so I don't know how long I've had this issue.

The only add-ons I have concerning the lights are, Revised FSX Lights, 3D Lights, and Nick's LightFix V2 (I didn't install the landing light/spotlight.bmp).  Also, I have "Landing Lights Illuminate Ground" check.

Any help in solving this issue is greatly appreciated. Smiley

Have you enabled "pilot controls lights" in the settings?
