Hmm, I'm not too sure if I'm doing this right as this is my first post. The image is an edit of MAAM's TBM Avenger sitting on the deck of AlfaSim's aircraft carrier "USS Enterprise". The inbound aircraft is a Simviation Corsair DL. The BG is from a photograph along with the flagman. The image is comprised of three separate FS9 screenshots. Please advise if this form of editing is appropriate in this forum. Thanks guys for looking, your comments are appreciated........... Ziggy

"Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth and danced the skies on laughter silvered wings. Sunward I've climbed and joined the tumbling mirth of sun split clouds.....and done a hundred things you have never dreamed of.....wheeled and soared and swung high in the sunlit silence. Hovering there, I've chased the shouting wind along and flung my eager craft through footless halls of air.
Up, up the long, delerious, burning blue I've topped the wind swept heights with easy grace where never Lark, nor even Eagle flew. While with silent lifting of mind I've trod the high untrespassed sanctity of space, put out my hand and touched the face of god"

Thanks Chuck and Fox 3, I appreciate you taking the time to comment. Although I'm a bona fide newbie to the forum, I have been using Simviation's aircraft for several years now for my composite edits. I am truly indebted to the site for what it has made possible particularly in the recreation of historic aviation events. I'm looking forward to sharing those edits that I believe the membership will find interesting. Thanks again guys for both the welcome and kudos..........Ziggy

beautiful shot, great edit!
I like the little touches such as the aircraft in the distance and the bloke risking it all!
if you dont mind me commenting, i would try darkening the deck of the carrier a bit to match the rest of the pic, and it would emphasise the amazing sunset a bit more. also, try a bit of blur on the catch rope (probably not the technical term!),
as I said before though, I like it alot!!

Hey Ziggy, welcome to SimV. Awesome edit, as always.
If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

Yeah buddy, this ah nice one!!
I've been banned for being an ill mannered imbecile with all the charm of a cocaine snorting Rottweiler.
I have difficulty seeing due to the massive floppy pink appendage growing out of my forehead and flopping in front of my eyes!
