Hi Simmers,  Looking for some help to stop an annoying pop-up insisting there are duplicate copies of FSUIPC in my modules folder, to double check there is only one, I moved it to the main FS9 folder, but it doesn't work from there, the nearest there is to it is a FSUI.DLL also in the modules folder, could this be the problem?  I am running both Flight Sim 2004, and Flight Sim X in windows 7 64 bit.  Is there anyway way of stopping the pop-up from showing?   Thanks in advance for any help offered.  Dobermann

I had this same problem. The solution I found was after quitting the sim, the processes were still running. So what I did, and still do, is after each close I open my task manager by pushing control+alt+delete. Then I start my task manager and select processes. At that point I find my sim exe and end the process. Annoying yet effective. Kind regards, Jeremy

Remove everything starting with FSUI from your Modules folder and put it on your desktop.

restart FS9/X, and get in any craft up to the cockpit.

shut down/close FS

put the FSUI information FROM your desktop back in and see if the problem comes back.

if it does, FSUIPC.dll might have corrupted itself somehow, so you will need to redownload/install it again ..... (TRON pun: Dang you Clu!!)

FSUI.dll is a default FS9 file, I would not suggest trying to run the sim without it.

Have you tried to contact Pete about this?

He is pretty good at responding.

Here is his support forum- http://forum.simflight.com/forum/30-fsuipc-support-pete-dowson-modules/

cheers,
Joe
