It seem in fsx when you climb above a the clouds and keep climbing they seem to disappear slowly until you descend. Is there any way you can get round that?

Most people think that flying a plane is dangerous, except pilots because they know how easy it is.
Arguing with a pilot is like wrestling with a pig in the mud, after a while you begin to think the pig likes it.

no. it is a known glitch that noone wants to fix because it would mean almost re-coding the whole Simulator Weather section of code.

example, if you start at an airport that has fog up to 4,000 feet (unrealistic i know, but bear with me on this) if you go to 4,010.... the fog disappears TOTALLY. but the minute you go back below 4,000... WTH, you are back in the fog again.

yeah. its a known glitch.  sorry, cant do anything about it.

I think this issue is patched over if you aquire Active sky.

Im running Active sky Evoulution and it has fog layer generation.

Im not 100 percent sure if it works but I think it does... Ill try it out tonight when I get home, and Ill report back on my findings Smiley
