Awesome.....all of 'em Shocked Shocked Cool Cool Cool

"Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth and danced the skies on laughter silvered wings. Sunward I've climbed and joined the tumbling mirth of sun split clouds.....and done a hundred things you have never dreamed of.....wheeled and soared and swung high in the sunlit silence. Hovering there, I've chased the shouting wind along and flung my eager craft through footless halls of air.

Up, up the long, delerious, burning blue I've topped the wind swept heights with easy grace where never Lark, nor even Eagle flew. While with silent lifting of mind I've trod the high untrespassed sanctity of space, put out my hand and touched the face of god"

Cheers man! This repaint i found really brings her to life dont you think? The supplied liverys are well...a little flat. Amazing what a little weathering and general aircraft wear and tear can do.

I must find a carrier, but shes touchy on the throttles!!

I was wondering.  I have that aircraft as well, and although it looks nice, yours just looks sharp!

I have fs9 maxxed out, but to be honest the supplied paints dont look quite as sharp as this one. My imacs running a high screen resolution also, i dont know if thats where it might be coming from, probably not, the original .bmps arent quite as crisp but knocking them down to 1024 seems to make them look good.

As long as i let fs load everything for a while whilst paused it nearly always looks like this....My PC couldnt quite match it sadly. If i dont get nice crisp images i bin them!!

Nice Shot!  Top Gun!  Love em!  I did a Top Gun dedication in the screenshot showcase a while back though.  For carriers, here's a list of all the default ones.
http://www.simtours.net/defaultaircraftcarrier.php

but I have to admit, those f-14 tomcats are great.  They can take off frome a carrier in FS even without the catapult!  I scared the heck out of a friend of mine in multiplayer while taking off pointing directly at him on the runway from .2 nm!  then u-turned, and landed right in front of him.  Also went from 800 to 0 in about 5-10 seconds coming back to seattle-tacoma from Mt. Rainier.  Sure gave him a surprise flying past him at 1,400 KIAS on the way back! Cheesy
I had done a dogfight with him beforehand and lost, but all i had was the up, down, left, and right arrow keys, no center ailerons and rudder button, no joystick, and no way to look around.  Still fended him off for about 5-15 miutes though.  And he was in an F-18.

Most people think that flying a plane is dangerous, except pilots because they know how easy it is.
Arguing with a pilot is like wrestling with a pig in the mud, after a while you begin to think the pig likes it.

I always liked the VF-1 paint scheme.  I had always hoped to serve in VFA-1 when they transitioned the worlds finest strike fighter, the F/A-18 Hornet, but alas the powers that be shut them down instead of making them a Hornet squadron.
