Boy I really screwed up and broke my rule I never usually break and that is not getting enough reviews about a biz before doing biz with them. It was late, had a few bears and let myself get suckered into buying from them. Why are they so terrible, for one simple reason. No customer support! I purchased the BBJ and am not able to activate it at all, the activation screen just flashes at me. I spent an hour reading all the info they provided and in the faq, re-installed and everything. So I sent them an email, was very nice and 48 hours later still no reply. Then I really got into what many are saying on the net. Yea I know do that before you buy, stupid me.

What was I thinking buying a 90 dollar airplane anyway and now I have one that does not work with no support.

I am posting this in case anyone else is considering doing biz with these people, don't do it. Their un-orthidox activation system is unessesary and there is no customer support. Makes you feel ripped off.

However I can only blame myself.

After 3 beers someone needs to take the credit card away from me untill the morning I guess.

I get it now why it is that you really don't see allot of simmers using their aircraft.

It looks like a nice product, I have never heard of these guys.  Hope they get back to you, $90 is a lot of cash for a broken piece of gear.   Undecided

I've read an official buyers beware article on Avsim, or flightsim.com, whichever, some years back that warned of Araine.  They used to be under another name, and the story behind it wasn't pretty.  That said, I have seen a lot of people flying Araine before PMDG and iFly came out with their own 737s.  In any case, an FS product costing $90 and having to pay for liveries is worth a bit of suspicion.  I've been tempted to buy from them before myself.

I do hope you get your $90 back....  Undecided

Cheers,
RB

If you paid by credit card, you likely have some protection there. Contact the credit card company, explain the situation, and dispute the charge.  THEY will then get in touch with the merchant and tell them they will be likely issuing a chargeback.  THAT will get their attention.

best,
