Hi all. I purchased the PMDG 737NGX the day it was released, and I must say it is jaw-dropping Smiley  But I have one slight issue. I pre-set the plane to be Cold/Dark. I uninstalled the PMDG 737NGX about a week ago due to minor fix releases from the PMDG site. But now if I try to start up the engines, only engine 1 will. I've even watched tutorials on how to start this beauty up but her other half refuses. Some help would be much appreciated Smiley

Yes Smiley It's warning me that the spark valve for Engine 2 and Engine Valve for engine 2 are both off. I have the fuel cutoff valves up to idle, the ignition to engine 2, and engine 2 starter to Ground. It's odd. Only engine 1 starts.

I had a similar problem with the PMDG J41 for a while, I could never get engine 1 started, just engine 2.

have a look at your packs panel (overhead panel, right hand side).  Make sure both left and right packs are off (you need the air to spin the engines), isolation valve to auto, and apu bleed to on.  Also, keep your fuel cutoff valves to off until your engines N2 spool up till about 25% (minimum 20) before turning them on.

Cheers,
RB

Also don't forget to set your bus transfer is set to auto and your fuel is on.  I forget that sometimes when I don't read the checklist. Wink
