Does anyone know how to fix this. It started happening after I uninstalled a texturepack

It is generally inadvisable to eject directly over the area you just bombed

Install a new cloud texturepack.
Try the HDE clouds from Pablo Diaz. (DO 
NOT
  INSTALL THE SKY TEXTURES !!!!
ONLY
 THE CLOUDS)

my guess is that when you INSTALLED the texture pack, that it overwrote your cloud textures, and then when you tried to UNINSTALL it, it deleted those textures as well.

REINSTALL that pack to your desktop for temporary, find the cloud textures and put em back in.   then just delete the TEMP install that is on your desktop.

this should fix your problem.
