While exploring FSX I accidentally deactivated my copy of FSX. Now when I start it up I get an error message that it is not actvated. It will run for 30 minutes and then stop and ask me if I want to activate. I then click ok and all I get is a black screen and no activation window.
I have my orignal product key but I cannot get the product activation window to open up. Prior to this FSX ran fine.
Does anybody have any ideas how I can get the product activation window to come up?
Microsoft said I would have to uninstall and reinstall.

Thanks  -  Dick

Most likly, if you called MS support, and that's what they told you to do, it sounds like the way to go, BUT, you could try deleting the fsx.cfg file and let the sim write a new one and see if that will help you to reactivate, or you might be able to do the repair option first. Good luck.
