Is it the Thomas Ruth?  I just downloaded it and it worked for me.  It's sound.cfg is aliased to the 737-800.  Does your 737-800 sound work?

No, you can alias it to another appropriate aircraft that you do have. Just edit the sound.cfg file.

alias=<aircraft folder name>\sound

If you still have the B747_400 the line would be

alias=B747_400\sound

At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.          Igor Sikorsky

I realise you're using it as an example Dave but I'm not sure that would work. The Sound.cfg of the default B747_400 is itself aliased to the B737_800.

Is there a way I can reinstall the default fsx Boeing 737-800 and not the crappy Boeing 737 planes that always has some type of error when trying to fly it?

Thanks Hager, my bad....  Embarrassed

Forgot that it is aliased as as well.   Cheesy

Should have used the Airbus_A321 as the example. It has a full sound set.
