Hey Cory
It might be one of those planes that you leave the guages in the planes folder instead of putting them in FS9's Gauge folder. I have a plane or two like that Good Luck! Blaze

Perhaps you are not aware that in FS2004 and FSX. the system always looks in the panel folder first for any gauges which are called for in the panel.cfg.

If it does not find them there, then it will look in the default gauges folder.

So it makes little sense to suggest that some aircraft require the gauges to be in the panel folder and not in the gauges folder.  FS will find them in either location.

Many of us do place new gauges which may come with an aircraft package into the panel folder, especially if we are just audtioning the aircraft.  That way if we decide not to keep it, one delete gets it all with no stray gauges to hunt down.

For the F-16- If you're referring to Kirk Olsson's F-16 Viper, 'USVIPER.zip', it sounds like you neglected to download and install the required add-on panel (Eric Marciano's 'fullf16pnl.zip')

Read the 'f-16 panel download info.log' (a text file) that is included in the USVIPER.zip download. If you deleted the zip, the file is also in the Documents folder in the Viper's aircraft folder.
