2003: the year NH couldn't

The world financial situation seems to have increased the number of heavy (alcohol) drinkers and substantially increased the value of aluminum. What has been called the 401-Keg, drinking heavily and recycling has been toted as the best investment plan.

A recent study found that the average American walks about 900 miles a year. Another study found that Americans drink, on average, 22 gallons of alcohol per year. That means that, on average, Americans get about 41 miles to the gallon. Unfortunately, this already slow rate of travel is accompanied by slow starts and 'rest' periods that are often fast in the delivery butt with too frequent spurts.

Time is a telling factor that now relates the 401-Keg to the current financial demise: even this investment has been continually going to pot.

Grin Grin Grin

It's quite the coincidence. I've just recently started salvaging aluminum to make extra money. Not just cans, I took apart a few defunct mowers to get the al. crank cases. I just thought to myself today, "why the heck not buy a 12 pack, I'm going to recycle the cans anyway" Wink
