FSX, we've come a long way baby! Skunk Works is an official alias for Lockheed Martin’s Advanced Development Programs (ADP), formerly called Lockheed Advanced Development Projects. Skunk Works is responsible for a number of famous aircraft designs, including the U-2, the SR-71 Blackbird, the F-117 Nighthawk, and the F-22 Raptor. Its largest current project is the F-35 Lightning II

Great shots....thanks for the HU Cool

"Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth and danced the skies on laughter silvered wings. Sunward I've climbed and joined the tumbling mirth of sun split clouds.....and done a hundred things you have never dreamed of.....wheeled and soared and swung high in the sunlit silence. Hovering there, I've chased the shouting wind along and flung my eager craft through footless halls of air.

Up, up the long, delerious, burning blue I've topped the wind swept heights with easy grace where never Lark, nor even Eagle flew. While with silent lifting of mind I've trod the high untrespassed sanctity of space, put out my hand and touched the face of god"

I fell in love when one was featured in the opening teaser of the Star Trek Episode  entitled "Tomorrow is Yesterday." It was the interceptor sent up to investigate the Enterprise which had been thrown back in time to the 1960's Grin

Well now your talking my language and tooth size! Unfortunately or fortunately, however you want to look at it, at that time, I was focused more on Uhura than the plane!!! Both fine aerodynamics!!!  Grin  Grin  Grin

If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

Thanks for the kind comments, gentlemen Smiley

This plane is available in three versions:
- one FS9 version
- two native FSX SP2 versions (self shadows, no transparency issues, canopy showing in front of clouds and autogen perfectly, etc...). Those are version 2.6 as well as ASA version 1.0.

You can find them only on SimSkunkWorks official site, you'll simply need to register to the site (it's free of course): http://www.vaafse.org/simskunkhome/index.php

The next version (version 3.0 I guess ?) will be FSX only, and it will be payware. The old versions are now freeware.

EDIT: when flying this plane, if you start hearing mad chickens, that means you have lost control and provoqued an unrecoverable situation that would force, in real life, the pilot to eject. They said that since the ejection process was not modelled in this plane, the gauge programmer created this funny chicken panic alarm to give a funny notice about a dramatic event  Cheesy
