Flying around today and found this airstrip.....it's in the FTX NA Pacific Fjords scenery by Orbx
The name of it is Moose Lake Lodge ICAO is (CBE8).
The runway is sloped and curved, there is a seaplane dock also
Thanks 4 looking
"Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth and danced the skies on laughter silvered wings. Sunward I've climbed and joined the tumbling mirth of sun split clouds.....and done a hundred things you have never dreamed of.....wheeled and soared and swung high in the sunlit silence. Hovering there, I've chased the shouting wind along and flung my eager craft through footless halls of air.
Up, up the long, delerious, burning blue I've topped the wind swept heights with easy grace where never Lark, nor even Eagle flew. While with silent lifting of mind I've trod the high untrespassed sanctity of space, put out my hand and touched the face of god"

Wonderful shots Chuck, love the livery.
I never dealt with an intentionally curved strip before...
but I've 'had' to alter my direction when landing off airport a few times to dodge trees.
If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

I guess whoever put this airstrip in didn't have a chainsaw
It's like running out of room to paint on your "plan ahead" sign

You neglected to mention it starts ONLY from the water.

...the first time I flew there, I was in a float plane. The lake, apparently stays frozen until the summer season though. So I could not land until July....it's a good thing I had plenty of fuel
Now that I have figured out ADE, I can put a start point in on the runway if you'd like

Thanks.....do you know the ICAO of the curved runway you use
I'll find it eventually......you could really save me some serious time though

Beautiful Chuck. Thanks for sharing your explorations with us.
You could spend a simulated life time checking out this vast scenery!

I would rather have it for Your Island, Seafin Resort, and DWTC. They are all much better places to start a flight.
