Good afternoon all... Smiley

Several times I have tried to program a flight into FSX and every time...right after takeoff...I get this message.

Out of memory
Restart your computer
Readjust your settings

Now the only game on this computer is FSX and the computer is used mostly just for that.

It seems to happen when I use a download aircraft and not a default aircraft.

Computer:  FSX Deluxe Edition & Acceleration
                 Vista
3328 Megabytes Installed Memory

Processor:
2.60 Gigahertz AMD Athlon 64 X 2 Dual Core

Drives:
320.6 Gigabytes usable hard drive capacity
215.39 Gigabytes of hard drive free space

I have my sliders in FSX set to what Nick suggested and they seem to work fine there.

I just do not understand how I can be out of memory.

Advice most welcome... Wink

Cheers...Happy Landings...Doug

This has happened to me  before.....I think that my video card drivers were screwed up and that's what caused it. I found a thread that discusses the problem here though....I hope it helps Doug Smiley
FSX ERROR

EDIT
I read that one.......I don't think it will help you......here's another Smiley
TRY ME

"Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth and danced the skies on laughter silvered wings. Sunward I've climbed and joined the tumbling mirth of sun split clouds.....and done a hundred things you have never dreamed of.....wheeled and soared and swung high in the sunlit silence. Hovering there, I've chased the shouting wind along and flung my eager craft through footless halls of air.

Up, up the long, delerious, burning blue I've topped the wind swept heights with easy grace where never Lark, nor even Eagle flew. While with silent lifting of mind I've trod the high untrespassed sanctity of space, put out my hand and touched the face of god"
