Well, between yesterday and this morning we have had sunshine, high winds, thunderstorms, more sunshine then heavy snow, 5 minutes of more sunshine, and now its hail and thunder. Edit.. while I typed this it turned back to heavy snow.. Longest damn winter I can remember.
Flying with twins is a lot of fun..

Sunshine here again Doug, for the moment.. Being that I work outside I am not looking forward to Monday morning.
I messaged my employer and told them I have Malaria and wouldn't be in tomorrow. Didn't work though, they messaged back and told me there is a cure for Malaria.
Flying with twins is a lot of fun..

They just issued a winter weather advisory for our area for the next two days. 2-5 inches of accumulation is expected. Very strange for this late in the year, not to mention the 80 degree weather we were having just a couple of weeks ago.

I should have tried Mumps or Tonselitis..
I can't remember the last clear sky 80 degree day here. I really really want one to remember though.

Can we blame it on El Nino? Our weather forcasters here are saying we should expect this right through the month of May.

Move to Phoenix Arizona.
On second thought don't. We have enough snowbirds out here already.

Looks like crazy weather all over the northern hemisphere...
In Holland its dry for over 2 weeks already, with all the crap that comes with it (huge clouds of pollen, farmers complaining, forest fires)
Girlfriend on family visit in Iraq is complaining about the 3 weeks-in-a-row rain and storms over there
Russian planes:
IL-76 (all standard length ones)
,
Tu-154 and Il-62
,
Tu-134
and
An-24RV

It's taking a toll here in the Texas panhandle as well. It's been severely dry, as our rain season is usually in March-May, and as of yet there hasn't been a drop of rain. I normally storm-chase for a local news-station here so its affected my personal economy as well.
Pray for rain

Maybe you could send some tankers to the Mississippi and Ohio valleys. I'm sure they would love to get rid of their extra accumulation.
If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

We had a nice day last Saturday, first nice one in a long time. I had already caught a touch of Pnuemonia by then. This sure has had the markings of the worlds biggest cloud.

Reminds me of popular saying.. "If you don't like the weather here, just wait 5 minutes"
I hope you get your rain though..
