What exactly will I gain, or lose by turning off HT?  I know there was something about load times, but what have you all experienced with it off as opposed as to on?

If you are talking about hyper threading then you gain nothing with it on as it relates to FSX.  With it off the CPU generates less heat and it makes for a more stable OC.

I have HT off, because my system is optimized for FSX performance and system performance.  System performance includes a high overclock so anything I can do to generate less heat I do.

Thanks for the reply! I as well have my system set for FSX performance, very stable and for an 860, I'm getting great results. The less heat the better, I'll leave it off and monitor any changes elsewhere, which prolly won't amount to much!

Cheers!
