Hi all, i have a strange problem with all my aircraft carriers. If i place my plane on one of them and load the game, my aircraft is there plus the AI, sitting 80ft in the air and no carrier textures, just the yellow stripes that would be on the deck. I don't know what's happened here, and i don't want to have to do a complete reinstall. Any help would be much appreciated.
Stephen.
P.S. I've just had a look in the scenery folder, and i have folders Carriers1,2 and 3. None of these have a texture subfolder, just a scenery folder.  Huh

What Carriers are you referring to?

As far as I know there are no default carriers in FS2004 so I am assuming it is some package you have added.

More details please.

Yes i think you're right. I think it must be a previous installation of flight deck or something similar, and its not been uninstalled properly. I wasn't sure if the original game had carriers.

If memory serves there is at least one default carrier. I believe it in the San Fransisco bay area. Can't remember if there are any elsewhere.

there is only 1 default carrier in FS9 and X. and that is the one that is sitting right outside San Fancisco Bay.  It does not have cables or a catapult, but you can land helos or a slow flying aircraft (cessna) on it, do a few turn arounds and then take off again under your own power.
