...With a beast. I had fun trying to capture the shot with the lightning. Just some contrast, blur, and a bit of softglow. Enjoy!
I went outside once. The graphics weren't all
that
great.
Burn the land and boil the sea, you can't take the sky from me.

Nice.
If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

FSX, we've come a long way baby! Skunk Works is an official alias for Lockheed Martin’s Advanced Development Programs (ADP), formerly called Lockheed Advanced Development Projects. Skunk Works is responsible for a number of famous aircraft designs, including the U-2, the SR-71 Blackbird, the F-117 Nighthawk, and the F-22 Raptor. Its largest current project is the F-35 Lightning II

What are you using to edit your shots?
The overall feel is great considering the weather conditions and the idea is a good one.
However the aircraft looks too blurred and the composition is too dark. I am assuming that the rain is the default FS rain which is far too overpowering most of the time.
If you are using an editing suite that supports layers then adding lightning and rain is made easier and can be much more subtle.
