Just a quick edit I threw together... You guys just wait and see for what I have for the screenie contest! Playing around with Softglow and Contrast gives you pretty decent results. Here we go, C&C welcome!

great.

Very nice
"Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth and danced the skies on laughter silvered wings. Sunward I've climbed and joined the tumbling mirth of sun split clouds.....and done a hundred things you have never dreamed of.....wheeled and soared and swung high in the sunlit silence. Hovering there, I've chased the shouting wind along and flung my eager craft through footless halls of air.
Up, up the long, delerious, burning blue I've topped the wind swept heights with easy grace where never Lark, nor even Eagle flew. While with silent lifting of mind I've trod the high untrespassed sanctity of space, put out my hand and touched the face of god"

It looks like the photo of a model ship and plane...I think they call it forced perspective. Very nice

Cool!
If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

This shot has the potential to be fantastic but it it spoiled by the blur not being applied properly, the aircraft needs to be pin sharp and the blur on the deck of the ship more subtle.
A little less contast would help... when using contrast adjust the brightness to compensate for some of the unwanted effects such as the water being extremely dark.
I don't know what your setup is, but there are a lot of jaggies which spoil the shot they can be lessened with some editing tricks but only if they are small in the first place.
