I was on the phone with my Mom when I saw #3. I had to bite my tongue, which is not easy when you are laughing your 'figure of speech' off.
If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

It best be Mother Nature or a Greater Power asking the question in the first scenario or no one's going to see the response.
The fellow in the third one may have taken the command to "get off [his] butt" a bit too technically.
