I was flying FS9 yesterday with my new yoke and since I can't find a good button to assign to the reset view command I have to pan back to center.

I have noticed in FSX that the pan speed is much faster.  Is there a way to increase this speed in FS9?

Pan rate: open the FS9.cfg file in notepad. Under the [Controls] section, edit the line...

PAN_RATE=400.

Increase the value to increase the pan rate.

If your keyboard is handy, the <Space bar> re-centers the vc view.

Ok. Thanks Dave!  I forgot about the space bar. LOL  I will edit that pan anyway.  I think it is too slow.  Many thanks to you!!
