Ep #2 -
Pilot Luke Hickerson transports dangerous chemicals from Barrow to the remove village of Atqasuk; in Unalakleet, the cold and dark winter claims its first casualty and Jim must make arrangements to transport the casket.
Your version bodes better with a single casualty at Unalakleet versus the complete removal of a remote villiage -- no wonder it was named Atqasuk.
Wink

Cool

Pretty sharp H! I didn't notice that spelling error untill you pointed it out..

Eh, it's okay. Not my favorite show. However, Top Shot is coming back on History soon.

I don't think it's as 'exciting" as the commercials make it out to be, but I still enjoy watching the show each week as I always wanted to be a bush pilot in alaska growing up...maybe someday I'll make it there.

It's about as exciting as Ice Road Truckers and Deadliest Catch.  The show is interesting enough, a man running a business in harsh weather with a rag tag crew salty guys, greenhorns, and family members, one of whom is learning the ropes on flying.  Then there's an exciting moment landing on a sand bar or in a 30mph crosswind.  Then it's back to business as usual again.

Needless to say, I like it, and I record it every friday and watch it once the kid goes to sleep.   Cool

This show is ok, but like all the other recent reality shows on Discovery and History, after one or two episodes it becomes repetitive.

My favorite quote from Jim so far.... talking about when he flipped a Cub landing on a hillside somewhere..... "Wasn't my first accident, won't be my last".  Grin Grin

Wrong mentality if you ask me.... if you have an accident, shouldn't you strive to make it your last?  Cheesy

Seems he is implying that he's immortal. I see the humour in your last sentence.  Grin Funny! Suddenly it HIT me!
