Just wondering how many rejects did you get before you got your first upload? I'm too embarrassed to say how many for me...

Well if you have something really unique (first shot of obscure russian/chinese airport, rare prototypes in flight), they are a lot less fuzzy
Russian planes:
IL-76 (all standard length ones)
,
Tu-154 and Il-62
,
Tu-134
and
An-24RV
&&&&AI flightplans and repaints can be found

I live in an area of Delta. Mainly CRJ's which there is so many pictures that they have to be amazing to be accepted. I've been looking through some old photo albums to try to find older pictures of planes or helicopters but have only found one which I am still editing to try to put on A.net. It was taken in 1987 and is pretty clear which is nice.

Not a single reject. Every shot I have posted to SimV was accepted. OH wait, you said Anet. Nevermind. Once again not a single reject, but that's because I haven't posted to them

I've only tried twice to upload photos to Airliners.net. My first one was of a unique helicopter, the Bell 210, which there are only 3 that are in service, and that was rejected. It was not half bad and I think the screeners didn't realize that it was of a special aircraft. My second I uploaded a few days ago and it's still waiting to be approved/rejected. Here is the photo:

They tend to reject photos with people standing in them.... speaking from experience.

Ah poo. It's almost impossible to get photos without random yahoos standing in front of the aircraft at events like this.

Ya... at airshows, if people are going to walk if front of a plane and you're taking a picture... just point at them and yell "STOP!!!" It might work ...

I've had a couple rejected and quite a few accepted. I had the advantage of mine being obscure Soviet types
There are two types of aeroplane, Spitfires and everything else that wishes it was a Spitfire!

I have one waiting right now, this one might make it, I double checked the requirements and it fits, it is very clear, not soft, not super sharp so I hope it gets in.

Don't sweat it Jisco, if they reject well we've got a photo forum right here and we LOVE planes. I sometimes wonder about the guys over at Airliners....

One of mine was just rejected too.
I fix what they say during the first time it was rejected then it was rejected again with other reasons.
I have one waiting which I think really has a chance. But if you live in the SAN area you could take a day trip to the airport and try to take a picture in the nice Cali weather.

I've seem some crappy fake shots over at Airliners but they insist on only kosher shots (go figure). I'd not worry about 'em! They blow it out their botty a lot. Head to our photo forum for feedback, adulation and to help make friends. We've got some amazing characters like Hagar (Doug) and Rifleman (Ken) who can guide you to super photo greatness but both void Airliners.
I'm lucky enough to have spent time with Doug and make a great friend out of Ken and to have learned an awful lot from them as well as sharing many laughs and fun
