Legard's out, but not replaced by Croft. In a surprise move, Martin Brundle becomes lead commentator, with analysis by David Coulthard.

Didn't see that coming. I suspect Croft didn't get moved across as he's too good a radio commentator to lose to the TV side.

God help us. This has been the worst kept secret on autosport forums for a few weeks.
The thought of listening to Coulthard droaning on in his monotone voice for 2 hours will finally have me tuning into the 5 live team. Anyone needing a key example, either watch the GP's which had mark blundell comentating (same style) or watch the pieces they did with DC from the mclaren factory.
When will the BBC finally cough up the dough and pay Ben Edwards?
David Croft was never going to be moved over, my understanding is he is actually employed by an outside company who produces the 5 live stuff for the bbc.
