Yes, a lot, both freeware and payware. Depends on what you are looking for. If you are looking for freeware scenery, go to the main site, click on FSX, and then scenery  and just browse until you find something you might

be interested in. There are also freeware mesh to improve the terrain elevations, cloud and water improvements, etc. And more aircraft than you could ever possibly fly. Then there is payware. For terrain improvements

there is GEX, UTX, and others that I am not familiar with. Orbx FTX has three for the Pacific Northwest that are exceptional, as well all of Austrailia. Then there are the airports. You can go strictly freeware and get a lot of

improvement over default, some of both, or strictly payware. You can spend thousands of dollars on scenery, aircraft, and even boats. Most of my terrain, sky, and water improvements are payware but I only started

getting payware a few months ago, after I switched to FSX from FS9. I have a lot of payware aircraft, but I have a lot very good freeware too. There are some threads in this heading (Flight Simulator X) that have a

comprehensive list of freeware improvements. You just need to look back through them.

This one is a partial list of good freeware aircraft:

This is another list, but includes scenery and other mods:

Hope this helps. Smiley

If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.
