Not bad but Oban or Tallisker is nicer IMHO
There are two types of aeroplane, Spitfires and everything else that wishes it was a Spitfire!

Agreed Expat, 15 year old is much nicer! No argument from me. I just started drinking scotch so I figured I'd go with a cheaper 12 year old to explore it a bit. Glenfidditch will be a likely next purchase.
However, if you ever come across The Balveine Doublewood I strongly recommend it. Absolutely lovely, and at a great price.

One I can recommend is Loch Lomond. It seems to be a well kept secret. Cheap but very good. Quite a woody taste that sits on the tongue rather well.

Nearly bought another bottle of Scotch today before I saw this thread. Glad I didn't!
I'll have to try and find some of these. Only thing around me at the moment is a BevMo and they don't have a great selection of Scotch. Need to get back to Total Wine and more...
