As you look at this stuff maybe also look in past threads in the "Homebuild Cockpits" forum section.  Many who run simpits (most) have rudder pedals and many also use some form of "virtual copilot" software.

Once you start using pedals, you will wonder how you ever got along without them  Wink.

I use CH Products pedals and MultiCrew Experience for the voice comms software.

What you can controll via voice depends specifically on the particular package you purchase.  Check out the MCE website for a view of their capabilities.... which are amazing.

best,

Multicrew Experience uses the default MS voice stuff itself.  You "train" it from within MCE.  I expect most of the "virtual copilot" type voice control things do this.

Personally I think MCE is the best bang for the buck of the stuff I've seen. But your mileage may vary.  You do need a GOOD computer for this stuff though......doubly if you are also running FSX.  Processor intensive.

You can get a free functional time limited demo here:

I'd test the MCE demo with that machine with FSX running at the same time.  It might surprise you how heavy a load the combination of FSX and the complex voice software can be.
