Does anyone know how to correct the problem with crashing on take off from cat 3 and 4 aboard the Abacus Flight Deck 4 carrier? When I reach the safty nets at the end of the cat the aircraft crashes every time. I am still using FD4 because I don't like FD 5 & 6 so upgrading is not an option.

I would suggest putting the disk back in (and if this option is availble) repair the product. good luck.

Appart from the fact that Abacus products are terrible and should be avoided at all costs, what exactely don't you like about the subsequent versions of Flight Deck ?
Especially if you are running FSX, the latest version of FD gives you moving carriers if I'm not mistaken. And the provided aircrafts are starting to look just a little bit better then FS98, contrary to the previous versions that look like FS5 or worse...
Of course, the real solution is to switch to Acceleration. Spending money into FD instead of Acceleration was not a good move, in my opinion.
Got bloom ?
Got mountains ?
Got damage ?

I just don’t like the feel of FD5 & 6, they are too restricting as far as the missions go and I don’t like the voice of the guy acting as the LSO, it doesn’t sound authentic to me,and the moving carrier didn’t add much to the overall effect in my opinion.
