Hi
Just saying hello to everyone, new to flight simulator (FSX) but been interested in Avaition since I was a lad. Hope you don't mine if I ask the odd question or two, I've downloaded a few aircraft from this site and have to say they are very impressive. Favourites so far is the vintage section.
Cheers
Rich

(only joking. No straight-jackets here. Now cattleprods and boiling marmalade, that's another story...)

Hi Rich, welcome to the V. Straight jackets to the right, large bottles of fermented vegetable products to the left.
Enjoy your stay

Welcome Rich! Don't worry about all the weird conversation about marmalade and whatnot, it seems to have become a ritual around here to welcome newcomers with lots of our inside jokes. Stick around long enough and it will start to make sense.
And, Steve!!! Punctuation, is overrate'd.!!111

A new room? Better make sure it's properly padded this time. I still have bruises from the last one.

Hi Chaps
Thanks for the great welcome, I think I have come to the right place. Don't worry about the straight-jacket I keep one just in case, but we won't go into that right now.
Cheers
Rich

Of course, not surviving the madness doesn't necessarily mean they're no longer about... it's just relative to the state of mind. Good to see you've come prepared.
