Michael, are you using the Upload Images link at the top of the page, and the resulting upload page that Hagar provided a link to?

Once you have selected the items you want and hit the upload button, the resulting screen should show you image links that you copy/paste into your post.

Yes Tom, that's what I have tried to do all along. I keep getting a message saying that the connection with the server was reset. Maybe if I reduce the size of the images even further. Lips Sealed

I don't understand this happening. You can try reducing the size of the shots, but it shouldn't make any difference as long as they're 150K of less. Sad

With you being down-under, this might have something to do with the times you are attempting your uploads. Could be during SimV daily maintenance/update.

Gawd, there's some fantastic shots here....I just installed new scenery enhancements from the basement. This is in the east central Aleutians, pretty stuff! Oops! Sorry guys, it's too large, apparently.....tried to downsize it and change it's format but it lost it's 'glow'....still to big and I can hardly see it.

alpha_1. What is the file size of your shot & how are you trying to upload it? Use the Upload Images link on the forum menu bar. Here's the direct link ---> http://simviation.com/phpupload/phUploader.php

Hi Hagar. It's 175 kbytes as it stands now. It's lost all of it's sharpness and has a lot of jagged edges. Before converting it from a .bmp it was 2.25mbytes. I DID use the upload doodad up above but it keeps telling me the image is too large. The scenery is intense and that may be why. Ahh well, if anyone wants to see it, it's over at the basement under 'Aleutians Scenery'.

That explains your problem. The upload gizmo will automatically reject images over the 155 kb limit.

Here yah go, Alpha! No trouble, if you follow Hagar's links and pickup some of the free photo mod sofware. No need to leave 'the penthouse' for that long trip down to 'the basement'. Very attractive.

I used Irfanview to simply resize your shot from 1024 to 800x600
