Let us know what pet projects you're working on...

Me?  I'm keeping busy this week experimenting with new ships, configs and DPs.  Me and Tondelayo, that is.   Tongue

There is nothing quite so satisfying as simply messing around in a boats.

I'm currently dabbling with the Aleutians.  I'm also redoing all of my base installs using an aliased scenery folder, to try and save space and simplify my installs....whew.....a lotta work!

Howdy,
Just putting the final touches on an FM-2 Wildcat Aces Pack.  There will be five sets of textures, fixed the two already up, and a new pilot to replace the existing one.  If all goes well, it will be done and up this weekend.
Thanks,
Bub

Having tired of messing about in boats after a few custom ship DPs, I have been seduced by AlphaSim's beautiful freeware FS9 Meteor F3.  Shocked   And I'm adapting her to CFS2.  Roll Eyes

She'll be sporting the original textures (616 or 42 Sqdrn), but will have a new DP and AIR files.   She'll dogfight beautifully as an AI/wingman, and will sport an AIR file that has had the 'Warp Bug' vaccination.   Still got a bit of tweaking to do on this baby.  Cheesy

The F3, while certainly not as advanced aerodynamically as the F4 and F8, is by far the most beautiful, graceful and elegant of the bunch.  (The clipped wings, oversized nacelles, elongated fuselage and squared off vertical stab sort of ruined her looks.)  Sad  And she will be right at home going after those Me262s over late war Europe.  (Of course the F3 will be followed by an F8 version.)

Oh, Heck!   I went ahead and put her up.   She should be ready for download tomorrow morning.   Besides, if she gets too good, there won't be an excuse for a Version 2.  Grin

BTW...the spoiler key (/) is functional for the airbrakes...and you'll need them.  And the sound is aliased to Lear45, I'll post it for those who don't have it. Wink
