Good morning all...
Not looking forward to tomorrow, will be glad when it is all over...
This time tomorrow I shall be waiting in the Operating Room for them to finish the second operation for Kidney Stones.
At my age the first operation two weeks or so ago kept me in pain for three days, hope this one goes a little smoother.
May not be on line for a day or two but no worries, I shall be back to annoy you lot shortly......
Have a great day...
Cheers...Happy Landings...Doug

Hope that things go well.
While the surgery may not be the most pleasant thing in the world to go thru... keep in mind the alternative and what that would be like.
Thinking about ya'.

My friend said her second operation was much better, she knew better about coping with the pain and general recovery. Hope the same goes to you.

Best wishes Doug.
If they keep you longer than expected, make them bring you a computer with internet.
If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

Not exactly what's meant by 'no pain, no gain'...
A few days in such case may seem much longer but keep in mind the relief when it's over.

Good afternoon all...
Well been home for about a hour, the old girl is fussing and mothering me.
The operation went as expected and I have a prescription for the pain, four pills plus the antibiotic pill.
Will have to take the pain pills shortly as the morphine and whatever else they gave me is starting to wear off.
They were absolutely wonderful again at the hospital and thank goodness for Canadian Health Care.
Thank you all for the Well Wishes and Larry "Patchz" sent me/everyone a link to the Bell 47 in one of his posts so I think trying to fly that will help take the old grey matter off of my pain along with reading and looking at the pictures you all post...
Thanks again folks and have a great day...

Welcome back Doug!!
Nice that you're fine ,careful on the morphine ,ask your doc about Codeine which is the same but less addictive..
Now take a rest...you're under medication ,Also be carefull of what you said, those pain killers makes talk more than you don't want too
