another case when people almost leave the attempt of rescue ,they even declare them death
This reminds me the incident in the early 70's when and airplane passenger survive in the Andes ,remember the movie"Alive"a movie based of a real incident?
this is a miracle ,But I'm watching the Chilean TV and expert says they will need months to be rescued ..

Talk about a "good news/bad news" scenario...
But at least they are not completely isolated; being able to communicate with the surface should help them through this.

I'm just wondering now, in similar circumstances, would you go back down the Mine again, (or any other underground Mine)?
I suspect they will have a difficult decision to make now, assuming other, well-paid, local work above ground, will be difficult to find for them...
...!
Glad to see that they are all out, OK...Well done to the Rescue Team...amazing bit of engineering!

Aha!! you been watching the news
so did I
They won't need to work anymore ,they are now celebrities
, Governments around the world (Included USA and UK ) has invited them to each of their countries and many other countries ,they been hire to tell the story for documentaries, movies etc,
Chilean companies and many around the world has gave them money ,insurance ,health care for them and their families for the rest of their lives , Literally they don't need to work anymore...I saw in CNN, Fox News (from USA)in a continues transmition of the rescued ,I didn't see it
Why I can't get trapped beneath the earth 1Km ..darn
lucky them

The guy with the mistress was probably like: "No, I'm fine down here, you guys go enjoy yourselves."
So, the moral of the story is that if you don't want to work, but still receive a ton of money and full benefits for the rest of your life, stick yourself in a potentially compromising situation (that few others have access to) for a while, and make sure you bring a video camera.
Great work by the rescue teams. Looks like it was a flawless rescue.
