Not sure this is new, but...

Having acquired an Alienware Area-51 monster I moved all my favorites (FSX, CSF, & CSF2) onto it.  After a few false starts everthing went OK.  But!  The controller of the Sidewinder won't run.  Attempting to calibrate from the games results in the games crashing.  On the other hand, CH products has a nice 64bit Controller that works well from outside the games.  The issue is minimizing the dead zone!  The Sidewinder has about a 10% dead zone (ailerons only) and it's near impossible to manage coordinated flight and get lined up on a target (or the runway) with so little control over where you're pointed!  Anybody have any ideas on how to set the dead zone on a Win7 64bit machine?

Opps!  Turns out I didn't research this bump in the road enough!  The null zones are part of the Sim's .cfg file and got sorted out.  FSX works fine.  CSF seems a bit jerky, needs more tweeks.  If I put the CSF splash page up Full Screen I have to run the Task Manager to reset the screen and get the game to display!
