About 4 years ago, I had great respect for the guy. I loved him, I thought he was a perfect example of a great athelete and football player and a rollmodel also.
To be honest every season he returns, I just keep lossing respect for him and I hope and hope and hope he gets smashed so hard that he gets knocked out of the NFL. I just cannot WAIT for that day.
I hate him. With a passion.
Sincerely, Tyler

Had he retired the first time that would have been fine. Now I think its pointless, simply because the vikings are good enough and close enough to winning a superbowl that sticking it out and trying again makes sense.
He just has no interest in training camp, he just doesn't have the decency to be honest about it.

He's done.. He's got some nagging injuries. In order for him to succeed, the offence has to be built around him. He didn't get where he is on his own.
Flying with twins is a lot of fun..

I dont think its true...yet, he's meeting with the Vikings...in Minnesota, to sign his contract probably.
Another year of this grandpa! OMG someone needs to smash him so he realizes he's to old.
Sincerely, Tyler

As a hard-core, life-long, born-n-bred, have watched (
or attended
), every single Packer game since the advent of satellite TV, cry when I drive by Lambeau Field, fan..... This whole thing has been particularly painful for me.. kinda like a bitter, hurtful divorce.
But.. like a marriage gone bad, it usually comes from finding out that that special person isn't who you thought they were.
If you aren't enthusiastic about being part of the team (
from training camp through the last game
).. then you're done as a team player in a TEAM sport.
He's no longer our problem child... he spread ruin in New York.. has undermined the team-effort in Minnesota.. and at the very least, set their QB development back a few years. In a weird way, he's still helping the Packers.
His last few years in Green Bay, were a lot like his first year in Minnesota.. frustrate everyone with childish indecision... reduce respect for the coaches.. play well enough to get you close, and then CHOKE in the clutch.
As the dust settles, we're looking at another potential legendary QB in Green Bay. Everything works out, in the end

If you could see his ranch between Hattiesburg and Columbia, you would not really care what he does. I can only imagine what the inside of the house looks like.
If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

Brett Favre Probe: Sterger Expects 'Swift' Action
Quote:
Jenn Sterger's manager expects the NFL to drop the hammer on Brett Favre pretty quickly -- now that Sterger's provided the league "overwhelming evidence" against the future Hall of Famer.
Sterger, her attorney, and her manager Phil Reese met with NFL investigators today in NYC ... and presented materials that Reese says go beyond what has been reported -- penis photos and text messages sent to Sterger.
Reese tells TMZ, "We expect action swiftly, but it's in their hands now."
Favre could be punished if the NFL finds he violated its personal conduct policy by sending inappropriate messages to Sterger ... who was a NY Jets stadium reporter at the time.
NFL - Make a deal with Brett. Drag this out until the playoffs start - Minnesota won't be in them. Let Brett announce a definite retirement and say the issue is moot unless he decides to un-retire next year.
Brett - Buy a razor. Use it every week or so. You look like you're 70, not 40. Take the deal the NFL offers you and retire while you still have a shred of dignity, which you don't.
Jenn - Take whatever lousy payoff the Jets and Brett offer because you are an obvious gold digger and won't get squat in court. Use your FSU degree to get a real job because your looks are gone.
Is everyone happy now?
