On the headstone of an auctioneer:
Gone to the highest bidder.
Which more can you think of?

Husband and his wife had a bitter quarrel on the day of their 40th wedding anniversary.
The husband yells, "When you die, I'm getting you a headstone that reads,
'Here Lies My Wife - Cold As Ever'."
"Yeah" she replies, "When you die, I'm getting you a headstone that reads,
'Here Lies My Husband - Stiff At Last.'"

I do genealogies and spend allot of time looking over headstones looking for dates. I was looking through this cemetery in Canada and found this extremely odd last word someone had for someone.
The inscription on the gravestone of John Laird McCaffery, died 14th August 1995:
the tombstone can be found at
Section C, Plot 01369 of Montreal's Cimetiere Notre-Dame -des-Neiges.
Apparently the stonemason on the tombstone didn't notice the hidden message when the man's wife and mistress placed the order together for the stone.
They claimed the meaning of the poem was just a personal matter between the three of them.
For those who love to keep track, yes, I posted these quite some time ago....
"I have a place where dreams are born, And time is never planned. It’s not on any chart, You must find it with your heart."
Albert Einstein - "Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe."
Martin Luther King Jr. - “Nothing in the world is more dangerous than a sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity.”
Johann Wolfgang von Goethe - “There is nothing worse than aggressive stupidity.”
Mark Twain - “Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.”
