Anyone gonna make it this year?

http://www.yankeeairmuseum.org/airshow/

Scheduling won't allow me to be there this weekend, but I may be catching the practice on Friday.

I went everyday the entire week prior to the show last year to see all the display aircraft arrive. Great fun actually. Like a well choreographed ballet, each having it's own arrival time, one after another, all day long. The A-10s from the KANG were really cool, buzzing the field two or three times before actually landing. (I always wondered if there was a reason for it, or were they just having fun?)

Anyway, If you're in the area, and can attend, I highly recommend it. Always a good time.

Groundbound,

I made it out on Saturday (would have been Sunday too if it wasn't for family commitments).  It was a great show to say the least from the formations of B-17s to the pop of the burner for the F-100, to a great set of static displays, The Horsemen, and two ACC demo teams!  Next year's lineup is pretty solid already and I'm already counting down the days!  I took a few thousand pictures (as usual) from the AirshowStuff.com photo pit, but I don't have any ready to post yet since I've been out of town since the show.
