A pretty good day (the 18th). Hot and hazy, but mucho lift out there. Greg finally took the 1-26 up for a hop, and di pretty well with it. I chickened out- a little too windy for my first time.

...

Besides, I'm still working on flying the 2-33 from the back seat. took old friend Holly up for two flights- she was a model pax; pretty good for someone who'd never flown in anything other than a cigar tube. again, you can see how handy that rear window is for photography... although a wide-angle lens would have helped. Other than the fluttering yaw string, you can barely tell we're in flight.

...

Having survived two glider flights, she was then ready for a Breezy ride with mike at the helm. She said it was like flying on a broomstick- a very good analogy, but I was afraid to ask how she knew what broomstick-flying was like.  Lips Sealed  Grin

...

While we were cooling off late in the day in the Breezy hangar, this little Schweitzer eggbeater came by for some hovering and runway-pass practice.

Great shots Sean!!

I really need to get up there.  Hmmm...how far is 47N from KEWR?  I'll be up that way on August 13th for the Airliners International 2010 show in Newark.  Mr. Tuohy (Fly2e) and I will also be touring the Continental Airlines Maintenance facility at KEWR that day.

It's barely 40 minutes' drive from there... NJT to exit 10, then out to Exit 12 on 287 and you're practically there.
