Hi all,

Today, once again, I had to fly this Denali camp mission.
I have recently installed this HDE Sky colors updated for FSX, so I enabled the mission modifications and set the time to one hour before dusk, and I choosed to fly the DC-3 with skis (Awesome4some).

On the route I was so pleased with the results that I had to take some shots Cool

Unfortunately, upon landing at the camp, my plane fell off through the ground, which caused a crash. I should have limited my FPS instead of being too optimistic Cry

This is what I could see from the cockpit. I toggled the cockpit lights off just for the pleasure of this burning sky Cool

And that's the small plane you encounter right at the pass. Look at the landscape. The mountain mod and the alaskan mesh (19 or 38 meters, I don't remember) sure helped a lot

some fantastic shots there... just amazing!

i always love your shots, your bloom is wicked as always. i tried it out but it crashed my sim and gave me white screens, tried various settings and versions but it just didnt work..!

also, whats "The mountain mod and the alaskan mesh"... ? will try a search but my internet is fataly slow right now Cry

anyways, nice shots!!

The mountain mod from Arnaud Clere will modify the way the montains are drawn in FSX, including much more rocky slopes depending on the angles of those slopes. In the end, the mountains look much better.

For the mesh, just take a look in the FSX Terrain mesh download section of Simviation, you'll find everything you need

Stephane your shots look great.

The colours all blend well together and the sky is wonderful in all your shots.

Gorgeous as always! I love the fact that you're not afraid to cut parts of the plane out to achieve such dramatic angles.

And of course the bloom couldn't look any better than it does here. Smiley
