Lake Iliamna, Alaska's largest lake and the eighth largest in the U.S., is located 100 miles west of Seldovia. It is 77 miles long, 22 miles wide, and 988 feet deep. For years, there have been reports of people missing and possibly devoured by a seldom seen and unidentified Monster.
According to Discovery Channel's 'River Monsters', the monster is a White Sturgeon up to fifteen feet long. At least that is what the host has identified the monster as, even though he never caught one there.
Took a break at Kulik Lake to eat and clean the plugs.
Stopped for fuel at MoCat's Snow Dog Tours in Homer. Had to pump it by hand. The sign says, "Tsunami Hazard Zone, In case of earthquake, go to high ground or inland."
Thanks for looking.
If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

Thanks.
MoCat's stuff is pretty much the same, except for a few special ones here and there, but there are so many of them. I don't think I will ever visit them all. And there are so few default float bases in FS. I love the Totem Poles he put in at Dutch Harbor and a couple more places.

Nice shots Patchz, interesting water color too.
And yes, MoCat's sceneries are cool although the buildings are almost all the same throughout the various airports. But they are very well done, so that makes those airports very interesting !
The only problem is the performance hit. There's a problem with the buildings textures that cause the texture to reload (with 1 second lag) everytime the building stays out of my screen for more that 5 seconds. A bit annoying...
Got bloom ?
Got mountains ?
Got damage ?

Thanks Doug.
I'm in the process of doing some pallette shifts on several of them. Mostly using the existing scheme and changing to a US registration, but some with a color change, and I hope to do a couple that are complete repaints. Just have to see how it goes.

Yes, and that is both good and bad. It can get a little boring at times, but it also makes it very easy to recognize from a distance.
I don't have a performance hit, it seems to run fine. And I have not noticed the problem with the buildings, but I will watch for it.

Don't know how it is now, but they used to fly two CV580 trips a day into ILI - full of tourist fishermen. When the reds are running, that place is wild. How come everyone has a red beaver but me
.
