I'm not sure it was the compression.My ac textures have been blurry lately.Doing repair/re-install now to try to fix.

Turned out to just be a texture problem.Anyone else have this problem?Here's the fix:

Do you have Global Texture Resolution set to Very High? If not, then that's the reason your getting blurred A/C textures.
The texture fix you linked to only helps people who can run Global Texture Res on Very High.

My global texture res is set to high and it worked for me
Original:Notice the blurry stripes

After fix:Nice stripes

Not the same angle entirely but,I assure you it works

I've since turned my gtr to very high and the textures appear the same.This fix is for FSX default ac only as far as I know

That's weird, turning Global Texture Res to Very High fix that exact same problem for me. Huh

I actually didn't try that first.That may have fixed it without the download....I guess I'll never know
