A female friend sent me this.
If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

That's more than anyone else had to say.

You know, it might be more than just a joke. With today's technology, why couldn't we come up with something similar that would soak up just oil, and not water? In a much larger size of course.

I suspect that a lot of this oil is not only on the surface, but held in suspension from the surface to the sea-bed!
I think they are going to have to put a filter on the bed of the Gulf of Mexico to strain the oil, then pull the plug out, and empty the clean water, temporarily, into the Great Lakes...
...!
Would also solve the shortage of Fish, at the same time!
...or not?...

The news gets more and more depressing each day!

I was wondering, does your motorcycle run on BP?
patchz can explain the specifics -- or even post the reference e-mail if he hasn't deleted it.

I still have it, but for some reason I can't save animated .gif files. I was waiting for you to post it. It has to be one of the best I've seen.
I just tried again and it worked this time. I will post it in Humor.
