Evening all,

Just thought I'd post up some pictures from the Breakfast Club at Goodwood yesterday. Had a cracking day & saw more exotic cars than you can shake a stick at.

The Breakfast Club is just a meeting of people who bring their own cars along to the same place (Goodwood), have a bit of breakfast & then go on their merry way. It only runs from 8am until noon & it's free to get in - top stuff.  Smiley

XJ220:
...

Mclaren SLR:
...

Taken from above the pits, very early on Sunday morning. Buy the time I left the cars were stretching all the way down to the white building on the left, & quite some way along the track to the right. There were also three car parks full of cars behind the pits:

Veyron:

One of the three 300SL's that turned up for breakfast:
...

& one of about 15 F40's:
...

Hope you enjoy.  Cool

Fantastic! If I ever make it across the pond, Goodwood is pretty much at the top of my list of places to go. Love the F40s.

If you can time it right Rob then a visit to the Festival of Speed or the Goodwood Revival are an absolute must, simply fantastic events.

Another F40 shot for you:

Oh definitely. I love it when Speed TV shows the Festival of Speed.

Ahhh beautiful F40! Upgraded intercoolers, likely bigger turbo(s), Tubi exhaust, I bet that thing flys!

Okay "TSC" where are the real vehicles...the "Land Rovers"... Grin... Wink

I would not give up one of my old Model 88 or Model 110 Land Rovers for any two of them there things.    Tongue      Grin      Wink

Actually there are two Land Rover Clubs three hours drive or an ninety minute Cessna 172 Flight from us.  Ottawa and Toronto and they have holiday long weekend meets amongst other things.  Must get there again.

Great shots "TSC"...now which one is yours?

Oh and do they still manufacture the "Rover Car"?  Have not seen one in a long time.

Cheers...Happy Landings...Doug

Grin Hello Doug.

There was one lovely old Defender at the circuit, but not on display sadly. I didn't display my car as I didn't think it fitted the term supercar & I think I'd have probably felt a bit silly. Grin

Not sure about the Rover thing anymore, but I think they have finally finished making cars.

I can't remember the last time I was at Goodwood. About time for another visit.

Forget the cars. Tongue  Apart from the resident Harvard in your photo did any interesting vintage aircraft turn up?

All very complicated. I believe that Tata Motors owns the brand name but no Rover cars have been produced since 2005.

TSC,

do you have a shot of that Mercedes 300SL taken from the front? Such a nice looking car.
