I just installed HDE 2.0 after a week of sleep-overs with my best friend and a weekend of camping.
And I wasn't paying attention and put the files that the readme told me to in my textures folder, didn't make a backup, and now FSX is crashing at start-up.
I think I recall this happening after I installed HDE 1.0, can someone send me the files to fix this?

Thanks!

if you still have your FSX disks, you should be able to find the files you need on there.

You can get the files you want off the disk without re-installing FSX??
How? Huh

The Capitan might mean run the repair opt on disc one from FSX and follow the instructions.

All I can say is mine were still present after repair. Do it at your own risk. Good luck!

Considering you where just coping & pasting, you probably instilled the sky colors, which aren't compatible with FSX and can cause it to crash.

Yeah, I think that is what did it.
I remember that those files killed FSX when I installed HDR 1.0.
How big are the files?
Is it possible for someone to either post them here or email them to me?
