I have been trying to use a missle (tried Agm-88c, 12c and Sky Flash) in a mission I am writing.  They all work great until about 3-5 minutes AFTER I fire them.  Then I get the dreaded "Fatal Error".  After days of troubleshooting I finally discovered that the error did NOT occur UNLESS I fire them, but like clockwork FSX does fail after they are fired.

I am running FSXA and Keir's SimVar programs on Win7 64 bit.  Attempting to solve the problem, I have :
1) Moved waypoints following firing thinking it was scenery related.
2) Reloaded fsx.cfg.
3) Tried other missles.
4) Disabled effects triggered by missile firing.
5) Reduced the number of missles to 4 (was testing with 20)
6) Contacted Chris Sykes (developer)...no reply yet.
Any assistance is appreciated.  Thanks.
Jake

I have FSX Acceleration running on Windows 7/64 and I use that weapons pack all the time. The only un-accounted for factor is Keir's SimVar program. Is it possible to turn off this program?

"Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth and danced the skies on laughter silvered wings. Sunward I've climbed and joined the tumbling mirth of sun split clouds.....and done a hundred things you have never dreamed of.....wheeled and soared and swung high in the sunlit silence. Hovering there, I've chased the shouting wind along and flung my eager craft through footless halls of air.

Up, up the long, delerious, burning blue I've topped the wind swept heights with easy grace where never Lark, nor even Eagle flew. While with silent lifting of mind I've trod the high untrespassed sanctity of space, put out my hand and touched the face of god"

I mess with the boom pak every now and again and the only problem I get is when I nuke L.A.

Tracked it to a framerate issue that is eating up a lot of resource til the 'shroom cloud disipates. Cool
