I have been trying to get the VC view to work properly for the Simshed C-130.  I have tried both the original version and the version modified by Brian Franklin.  The file is the LockheedC-130USASEA.zip downloaded here at Simv.  I have both inverted Alpha on the panel textures and changed the .bmp files to DDS DXT5.  I tried these two by themselves and in combination.  By accident early this morning I discovered that the VC cockpit view is fine during dusk, night or dawn but corrrupted with the FSX current time and season set on day.  See screenshots.  This is the only aircraft which has given me this problem.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Edit.

This happens only with Acceleration/SP2 not with Deluxe/SP1.

That looks like it's supposed to be an internal reflection, but I couldn't find anything that looked like it in my texture folders.

Add:  I did see a black rectangle that matched the "reflection" in the VC, but it went away in the blink of an eye.

Thanks, I will try it this weekend.  Are you using SP2 or Acceleration?  I have had no problems with Simshed using only SP1.

Hi guys, Brian Franklin here.  I know it's late but due to the constant stream of emails I'm getting about the 'FSX' version of my C-130 I thought I'd put the record straight.

Sorry but the so called FSX version was not released by me.  Whoever did it never even asked me.  I would have explained that the VC polygon on which the instruments are mounted is handled in totally different manner in FSX and so will appear black.  Also some of the instruments no longer functiuon undef FSX.
